What can be a good alternative to "Sir" and "Madam"  salutation  in indic traditions?

    In odia, we used to say,

    Mahashaya(male)

    Mahashayaa(female)

    Or Sriman/Srimati would be better.

    In sanskrit

    Bhraata: brother

    Bhavaan: sir

    Bhavatii: madam
