Beryl Pogson, who was Maurice Nicoll's student for nineteen years and his secretary for fourteen years, had this Simple Explanation of Work Ideas by Maurice Nicoll amongst her papers. In the 1950s she read them to her groups and discussions followed.
Simple Explanation of Work Ideas was written in 1940 at the beginning of World War II at the request of Mrs Humphrey Butler because her two faithful helps, Barrow and his wife, had asked what The Work was about.
