how can I do nitya puja of Ishvar during menstruation, I feel I am doing a whole great mistake when not offering diya, by not chanting daily mantra which I don't do while menstruating. When it is tvamev ata, pita twamev, so how do I leave my mata pita without naivedyam and I hog on food without offering it to him? Ideally females while menstruating were not allowed to do other chores and weren't allowed in the kitchen for all the good reasons, but now females do all the things except doing puja. Is it the time to evolve? or an exception is mentioned somewhere in the scripture which we are not aware of. The situation of bhakt in a nuclear family.
