I have seen different people following diff rules for them. Like
1. Don't eat prasad if you didn't participate in event.
2. Don't take and eat it yourself. Let someone give you.
3. Don't eat it if you have eaten non veg that day.
4. Eat it before sunset.
5. Pick it up when it falls on ground.
6. Don't give it to dogs.
Can someone please share something on importance of PrAsad and reason behind it?
