Live life like a feather! Mind

A feather.

A feather loose.

A feather floating.

Learn to live life like a feather floating.

Loose from the bird's wing, as it floats in the air, it sees that the flow of the air, the small wind current and vortex pockets, the structures of nature & culture around it - none are in its control, none care about its whims and fancies. So it bounces and floats, bounces and flies...

But it follows its core dharma - it keeps light and dry. Even when a dew drop falls on it, it does not get wet!

That's what life will give you, and that's how you need to stay true to your core purpose.

What is the purpose, but?

Imagine a small child, a little kid. It sees the feather floating above. It sees how the father does the loopy loops as the currents in the air play tricks with it. It jumps with joy. It blows onto the feather - it makes even more intricate patterns of fate!

The child is happy seeing it. The child smiles. Laughs even.

Remember, your purpose is to give off that laughter - spread it out in the world - as much as you can, while knowing fully well that you can only do it when you yourself are not wet. While you are dry & afloat!

And then maybe, just maybe, one day you will realise that you came loose from a bird named peacock... and finally you found your destination at the crown of Shree Krishna!

Till the time the feather knows how to stay dry, it has a chance of doing its karma right, following its destiny... finding the destination that is True!

A complete control on one's mind enables it. That's the only tool that one has to ably do one's righteous duties!

This mind - this brain & body - is the most complex instrument that Mother Natures has given us ... for Free! And we hardly know how to use it.

And the world around us plays us like a flute tuned to their tunes!

Learning the control, and taking back that control for oneself is the only way.

And that's Yoga.

Yoga - that not only joins one with the Universe, but also one's ability with one's destiny.
