Don't want to believe the truth quoted by brahmin & other GC authors??
Then here are the opinions of other dalit leaders on Dr. Ambedkar
Will you reject them too??
1. HJ Khandekar (Mahar) opposed Ambedkar's claim to leadership of depressed classes.
He questioned the authority of Dr. Ambedkar to speak for the SC community as a whole.
He said:
"Dr. Ambedkar is the leader of only a small section of Mahars in Bombay & Nagpur. Therefore, he cannot speak on behalf of the whole scheduled caste community."
He also opposed reservation saying it'll lead to more conflicts between caste hindus & dalits.
He said:
"Because of this mentality of Dr Ambedkar, the harijans (dalits) will permanently remain harijans & their position will gradually deteriorate. There are sub-castes within castes among harijans....If election is fought community-wise, then mahars who are 80% will get all votes.. Chamars, bhangis & other sub-castes will not be able to return their representatives in elections because they are minority among harijans. In that case only mahars (a section to which Dr. Ambedkar & I belong), will capture all seats & other harijans will get no seat at all."
2. Balakrishna Deorukhar (a Chambhar leader, 1933), said:
"At least, Dr Ambedkar
should have done away with sub-castes
among Harijans before dictating terms to
Mahatmaji." After
Ambedkar's declaration to convert, Deorukhar said: "Conversion will not help Harijans".
3. NS Kajrolkar (a Chambhar leader) asked Ambedkar
not to become a "Lost leader to Harijans".
Said Kajrolkar, "we are shocked at the advice
given to us, Harijans, by our veteran leader
Dr Ambedkar, to abandon the Hindu
religion ... It breaks our hearts to see ...Dr Ambedkar who gave us a prominent lead in the past, should ask us to commit suicide
by abandoning our religion."
4. PN Rajbhoj (another Chambhar leader),
went a step further and said that Ambedkar
was misdirecting his followers. This was
also reported in the Bombay Chronicle of
February 17, 1933. Said Rajbhoj:
"I am not surprised by Dr Ambedkar's
speech as there is nothing new in it ... When ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL WEEKLY March 8-15, 1986
Temple Entry Satyagraha was going on at Nasik some dozen Mahars got themselves
converted into Mahomedans on hearing the
speeches of Dr Ambedkar and his colleagues ... These undesirable elements in Nasik
Satyagraha made me nervous and I severed
mv connection with the Kalaram Temple
Satvagraha ... Dr Ambedkar is not only
misdirecting his followers but also misdirecting his energy, knowledge and leadership
through wrong channels to a waste land."
DN Kamble (a Mang leader), wrote a letter (1941) accusing Dr Ambedkar of being only
a Mahar leader. In his letter, he made the following requests:
-Mahars must consider Mangs as equals,
-Promising Mang young men should have
a chance to go forward
-Mahars must not
obstruct Mang processions
-Mahars must
not take watandari rights from Mangs
-Ambedkar must give as much concern to
the improvement of Mangs as to Mahars
A letter from a
section of the 'Disgusted and Distressed Depressed Class' was sent to the editor of
the Bombay Chronicle (1931) which rejected Dr Ambedkar's claims as "leader of the Depressed Classes".
It ended with:
"God save the
country and 'depressed' class from such
'friends' and 'leaders' as Dr Ambedkar."
All these were dalit leaders from mahar, chambhar & mang communities.
Will you call them propagandists too??
THREAD
Both RW & LW eulogises Ambedkar as the epitome of equality & social justice specially towards downtrodden depressed class.
BUT DID HE REALLY HELPED IN UPLIFTING DALITS & ENSURE EQUALITY?
The answer is a BIG NO as has been exposed by many other Dalit leaders themselves who actually worked for Dalit cause but didn’t receive the over hype like amby.
An article in Bombay chronicle exposes the piled up testimonies from amby’s own writings that the sanctions of the scheduled caste have been misused & exploited for building up political image of Amby’s own group.
Justice have been sacrificed at the altar of consolidating power & group interest.
The article goes on to accuse that Ambedkar neglected the interest of not only all other depressed classes like mang matangs etc, he even let his own mahar community remain backward.
He also let Mangs remain stigmatised as “criminal tribe”.
Non Mahars were so neglected they didn’t get any benefit of educational concessions even.
And they say, he worked for the equality of all?
He is accused of being unfair to other depressed classes even, how can we expect him to be fair towards general caste hindus?
Several Harijan leaders like H.J Khandekar were against Amby’s claim to representation of Depressed class.
Khandekar himself belonged to Amby’s mahar community.
He wrote letters mentioning amby being the leader of only a small section of Mahars & questioned the authority of Amby to speak for all scheduled castes.
Unlike what Ambedkarites claim today, most scheduled castes werent in support of conversion. Chambhars started to distance themselves from Amby for this reason.
Chmbhar leader, Deorukhar reportedly said that “Ambedkar should have done away with sub casteism among harijans before dictating terms to Gandhi”
He calls amby a man of convenience and not of conviction & vehemently opposed conversion.
Another prominent Dalit leader N.S kajrolkar too opposed Amby on conversion. Unlike popular belief, conversion from Hindu religion was like soocide.
But since these leaders werent anti Hindus there arent promoted by anyone be it right wing or left wing.
We dont even know about these noble souls now.
And do u know what was the result of other Dalit leaders who refused to convert & leave Hinduism?
Amby, the epitome of equality was so vengeful he refused to set up candidates from those other communities that refused to leave Hinduism.
Equality & social justice much?
From all these above examples it is very clear that Amby wasn’t fighting for uplifting Dalits or trying to bring equality, as he is projected.
All he wanted was to project his own hatred and seek opportunity for himself to climb the ladder under the garb of social justice for depressed.
And it is not only power, Prominent Dalit leaders like Kajrolkar & Sitaram Narayan Shivtarkar criticised Ambedkar of misusing government money instead of equally distributing it among all dalits.
Amd now Both RW & LW promote him for bringing equality and justice now. Irony.
Jagjivan Ram was a very prominent Dalit leader who worked for abolishing untouchability. But he was a staunch Hindu himself and opposed conversion zeal of Amby.
He worked a lot for Dalits yet his name is lost in history.
Ambedkar abused Jagjivan Ram who was actually working for all dalits calling him a congress stooge.
Even if amby was opposed to Hindus for untouchability he literally had no reason to abuse Hindu deities. The reason he did that was to form his own cult.
Jagjivan Ram also called him out saying “only cowards will leave Hinduism”
We all Hindus should recognize the contribution of Jagjivan Ram for it.
The result was infront of all.
For all his Hindu hatred, even the depressed class (sc/sts) of his time didn’t give a damn about his existence.
Ambedkar lost in every election in a humiliating defeat & even sc/sts didn’t vote for him.
Amby was defeated by all the other dalit leaders that he had abused for not leaving Hinduism
And do u know after losing humiliatingly he started pleading those same leaders to add him in cabinet.
Infact the Mohandas Gandhi & Nehru he abused all his life, he finally surrendered to them to get back in power.
Many RW influencers use Amby to attack Nehru Gandhi today. The reality was Amby had lost all his elections amd had surrendered to them.
He got back into cabinet not because of his worth but at the mercy of same Nehru Gandhi.
If we are trashing Nehru Gandhi, tell me again why we are promoting Ambedkar now?
