In Abrahamic religions, owning both ordinary and sex slaves was legal. What do Hindu scriptures say about owning people as slaves? Did Rama and Krishna free any slaves?

The basic question ‘ is there any mention of human slaves in our scriptures’ and if slavery was practiced or allowed in ancient India. The single word in Sanskrit which is translated as slave is “Das” which is also used for servant, obedient, Bhagat etc. also
I didn’t find any reference of human slaves in Ramayna or Mahabharata so there is no question of Bhagwan Ram or Krishna freeing slaves.
Manusmriti or “Kautilya ka Arth Sastra” by Vishnugupt Kautilya aka Chanakya also don’t mention human slaves.
Abrahamic religion provide human total domain over animals but Hinduism even don’t consider relationship between human and pet/farm animal as owner and property

Appreciate your response, but Abrahamic religion would argue what is someone stole your pet/farm animal, how will you resolve such property disputes?
